Jun Can Po
My group and I's official new favorite game is Jun Can Po. We have all the hula hoops lined up in a line, and then we hop in towards the other person from the opposite team. When we meet them we Jun Can Po. The winner moves on, the loser goes to the back of the line. This game sounds boring, not with my group. I have such a distinct group of kids that everything we play ends up being super fun. So I had one of my kids stuff animals and it has a nub hand because its a horse, it was my turn to Jun Can Po and I went up to my kid and said I'm ready, he was like wait what? So we Jun Can Poed and I loss. Haha. It's because I can only do rock. Haha. That just broke the mood, everything after that was intense and fun....God always blesses us with fun and and enjoyment. Til next week stay tuned!

Spring break
This week my kids were off at school, so i decided to try and pick up some hours at our facilities where the kids go for spring time. This week i was watching 1st and 2nd graders, it was not to much different from kindergarten. Having to know all their names and thinking of activities for this age group was probably the hardest part of this week. As today was the 3rd day I have worked with them it was easy. We played soccer and the girls did not want to play. The rest of the group played and I got the chance to play along with them, that was a lot of fun. They were also allowed to make keki id's today. They were really excited. I did an activity with them where they colored a picture and they wrote down things they are thankful for, looking at what they already have. One of my kids said that he was thankful for God. How cool is that? Tomorrow is the last day and we are going swimming. I am sure that is going to be an adventure in itself!

Stormy day at work
It rained on monday pretty hard, it also rained on tuesday. We were forced to use other areas that were covered to play and run activities. Tuesday was really fun though. It was safe enough for us to go outside and walk to a covered area. We played a math game and some pictionary. My kids were very engaged in the activity, because if you got an answer right they would get candy. Everyone was participating and it was one of the most enjoyable times i have had with them, because I knew they were learning. As the day went on we went inside to do homework, everyone finished and parents were coming early due to rain and traffic. We stayed inside for dismissal and the kids were starting to get a little antsy. Not being able to run around is hard for 5 and 6 year olds. Just when we least expected it a loud thunder sounded. My kids jumped up and ran to me for comfort because they were scared. it was cool, cause I was like yes! Jesus is coming soon!!! and I got to tell my kids how God is the one in control of the thunder and he does not want to hurt us, they began to sit back down and the storm lightened up. Fun day!
